چکیده

Indoor viral and fungal activity is affected by the concentration of moisture in air. Since viruses fungi air directly affects human body, it necessary to maintain a specific humidity range through air-conditioning system. The optimum building 40-60%, needs be maintained regardless season. In winter, separate humidification system required adjust indoor due dry outside However, since conventional injects water or steam into air, various problems, such as pollution, occur. Therefore, this study proposed new method called hollow-fiber membrane increase humidity, effect was experimentally evaluated. When 150 CMH (air volume ventilation level) supplied, absolute increased about 4.14g/kg compared initial condition, relative supply 64%.

Hollow Fiber Membrane Dehumidification Device for Air Conditioning System

In order to provide a comfortable living and working environment indoors in tropical countries, the outdoor air often needs to be cooled and dehumidified before it enters the rooms. Membrane separation is an emerging technology for air dehumidification and it is based on the solution diffusion mechanism. Water molecules are preferentially permeating through the membranes due to its smaller kine...

Correlated Effect of Air Gap and PVP Concentration on the Structure and Performance of PVDF Ultrafiltration Hollow Fiber Membrane

Polyvinylidene fluoride/polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVDF/PVP) hollow fiber membranes were fabricated by dry-jet wet-spinning process. The correlated effects of the air gap length and PVP concentration ((1) the air gap length effect at the low and high PVP concentration in the dope solutions, as well as (2) the effect of the PVP concentration at the same air gap length) on the cross-section structure ...

Hollow Fiber Membrane Bioreactor for COD Biodegradation of Tapioca Wastewater

The present work studied the application of membrane bioreactor (MBR) for tapioca wastewater processing that contained chemical oxygen demand (COD) ranging from 4000-9000 mg/L. A preliminary study was initially conducted in order to evaluate membrane performance with respect to its flux with MLSS concentration ranging from 4,500 to 10,500 mg/L. It was clear that fouling was observed during the ...
